Timba bongos and congas are fashioned out of select seasoned oak to recreate the original sound of the traditional drums.

All congas and bongos produce crisp, clear open tones with dynamic bass notes. Hand-picked pure USA steer skins are used on all drums. Heavy-duty chromed tuning systems are a standard feature on all models of congas and bongos. A total of 10 dynamic new colors are available to choose from.

Also available from Timba are bata drums (Afro Cuban ceremonial drums): Okonkolo, Itotele, and Iya. We also make Dominican tamboras (merengue drums) in two sizes, made of Appalachian oak, with the tone block included.

Custom-made padded bags especially designed by JP Custom Cases are available for Timba instruments with a beautiful logo design.
